Criticism and rejection can become part of your life if you choose to become a blogger or a freelance writer. If your family is not used to the idea if you working as freelance writer because you do not have a “real” job, your first task will be to convince your family that being a freelance writer can be a real job too. You will need to earn their respect. It might not happen overnight, but if you are successful in being a freelance writer, you will discover that your family and friends are going to accept the fact that you chose to become one. Criticism and rejection might happen to you from time to time not only from your family members and close friends, but also from editors and those for whom you will choose to write. For some reason, some editors will not like your work. My advice here is to never give up and look for such editors who will appreciate your work.
